Dice Rolling:
-------------
(The following rules cover die rolling in this e-mail campaign. They
have been thuroughly discussed, and agreed upon by all players. If any
further changes to this currently agreed upon method are
required/requested. They shall be dealt with in a similar manner.
(Discussion, solution proposal, discussion, adjustment, vote,
approval/disapproval)

Each Player must submit one list of pre-rolled die rolls to the DM for
each character he will play. The DM will then randomly assign these
lists to the various characters. i.e. I give the list Jimmy generated
for his 1st character to Pat. Pat is to use this list for his 1st
character.
     Not only do the players use these die rolls; the DM as well uses
them. For example on The sheet that Pat just received is a list of d20
rolls. Pats character uses the first two rolls. One for an attack, and
one for a Òto hitÓ roll. Then A two Headed Troll decides that Pats
Wizard looks like a tasty treat. The DM then uses the next d20 on the
same sheet as the Òto hitÓ roll against Pats character. This mechanism
will virtually eliminate the chance of cheating. Pat has no idea what
Jimmy rolled to begin with, and he has no idea of when the DM will be
using rolls off his sheet.

In the event that a die roll will most likely decide a characters fate;
No one will be allowed to use the pre-rolled die roll. The player must
roll for the Character (or monster, on the DMÕs part) in question. This
putÕs the ultimate fate of the character back on the razorÕs edge as it
were. You are once again holding the die of ultimate decision making in
your hand. Your characters future rests once again, on the random roll
of that small iconic object. Representing the Pinnacle of glory, the
devastation of defeat!

This is where integrity comes into play. As we have all pointed out; we
are no longer sophomoreÕs in high school. Life presents us with much
greater challenges than our imaginary characters can ever meet. We no
longer need to cheat in order to achieve enjoyment. The power and fame a
character gains through his adventures is only heightened by a glorious
demise. There will surely be, another equally enjoyable adventure,
awaiting your next ÒGarthÓ.
