Introduction:
This non-profit index is being provided solely as a community service to residents, visitors and persons interested in the "Southlands Mall". I have no financial stake in Southlands Mall, it's stockholders, owners, investors, etc. Use of Trademarks in this merchant listing is simply for identification purposes, and not intended as a challenge or endorsement. I'm not selling anything, and this is not a retail outlet portal. It's a listing of stores, addresses, phone numbers, and other information about Southlands Mall. Location & Statistics:
Southlands Mall is located in southeast Aurora, Colorado. At the intersection of E-470 and Smoky Hill Road. Southlands Mall is easy to access from anywhere in the Denver metro area due to it's proximity to E-470, a toll road which bounds the Denver metro area on it's eastern periphery.
The mall is built on a 301 acre site (180 acres developed for retail), and will consist of appx 1.7 million square feet of retail, 1,100 condominiums/multi-family (70 acres developed residential), and 250,000 square feet of offices when completed. Development costs are estimated at appx. $250 million dollars.

This adjacent community (Wheatlands (Phase I)) is currently being developed by three builders (DR Horton, Richmond American and Centex?). When completed (late 2006), there will be appx 1,440 multi- and single-family homes. Prices will range from the Mid $200K's to high $300K's. According to information from an Alberta representative (23 Jun 06), the board of directors for the Southlands Metro district No.2 has changed the date for their quarterly public meetings. The remaining meetings for 2006 will be held on the 4th Friday of September and December. The meetings will take place at Alberta Development Partners, LLC. 5460 S. Quebec St. Ste #100, Greenwood Village, CO. Meetings are scheduled for 1100am and they are open to the public. If possible, I'll try to attend these meetings in order to keep appraised of any changes affecting the Southlands mall area.
