Garrity Farmstead: Back in De Pere, Kim and stopped by the old place. When I was a
young kid, I spent plenty of time here. Without brothers of my own, the Garrity boys
were always good to me, and their parents treated me like one of their own.
Fond memories: There isn't much left of the old Garrity Farmstead, and what is left is
disappearing quickly. There used to be a house here, but now there's none. With Bob &
Mary gone, there wasn't much point anymore. Their legacy lives on in their children,
grand children, and those who's lives were touched by their caring nature and good
humor.
Two goofy guys: Here's a rare shot of me (with the goofy hair) out from behind the lens
for a change. Kim and I had a really good time with Ted and Sharon. I just wish we
could have spent more time on leisure, and less on computin'.
Kim says goodbye: Kim and I stopped for one last visit in De Pere. On our way between
brother and sister, we stopped over for one more short stay at Casa Kuchta. Thanks for
making our stay so much fun. We really had a good time.
Lots of goodies for the return trip: The Volvo is loaded to the gills. We packed it up with
more goodies for our return trip to Denver. It's hard to believe, but I managed to fit
everything into the Volvo without lowering the second row of seats.
On the road again: One more leg to go on our journey across Wisconsin. Leaving Kim's
parents for the last time, we headed for Wauwatosa to visit with Kim's sister Kary, Mark
and two great kids.
