Day 8 (Jun 29): After a hot air ballon ride (which started in Castle Rock), we drove over to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. We took the guided tour, watched a movie (history of the park/area), and shopped in the gift center. After everyone was tired of shopping (yeah, like that ever happens!), we had a bite to eat in their cafeteria.

After exploring the Garden of the Gods, we took a trip over to the Cave of the Winds, for a guided tour of an underground wonder. By now we were ready for a rest. We checked into another B&B, the Red Crags is a magnificent old victorian home, high up in the hills of Manitou Springs.
